This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the Policy) applies to individuals who visit modecom.com, contact our support department using the form available at support.mod ecom.co.uk (as well as support . modecom.co.uk and support-fr.modecom.co.uk) as well as by email or telephone, participate in contests, and those whose data we process under contracts, commitments or consents received for the transmission of commercial information by electronic means and who are over 16 years of age (hereinafter referred to as Users).
  2. Before using any of the services described in the preceding sentence (hereinafter Services), each User is required to read the Policy.

  4. The Administrator does not provide for the processing of personal data of children under the age of 16. Only persons 16 years of age or older may use the Services provided by MODECOM.

PURPOSES OF PROCESSING

  1. MODECOM processes Users' personal data in connection with their use of Services provided electronically, depending on the type of Service.
  2. Website modecom.com: As part of the maintenance of the website, MODECOM may collect data of Users visiting the site (using "cookies" and JavaScript), such as IP address, information about the Internet service provider, the User's operating system, the Internet browser used, screen resolution, device model and other data about the software and hardware used by the User. The data is subject to profiling, but it does not affect the User's use of the said service and does not have any consequences for the User. Data collected by MODECOM is processed for statistical purposes only.
  3. Technical Support Form: As part of technical support, MODECOM collects personal data provided by Users through the contact form available on the website support.modecom.co.uk (and support . modecom.co.uk and support-fr.modecom.co.uk). The data is processed in order to send confirmation of receipt of the inquiry to the e-mail address provided by the User and to send a response to this address by the technical support team, to provide assistance in the use of MODECOM products, to monitor website visits and to collect visitor statistics. The user provides his/her data voluntarily; however, the provision of some personal data (name, e-mail address, contact telephone number) is necessary because they are required to provide technical support assistance. Failure to provide them or providing false data will make it impossible to service your request. Some data (regarding the User's software and hardware) is collected automatically and may be subject to profiling, but it is irrelevant to the submission of an inquiry and its handling. It also does not cause any consequences to the User. Data subject to profiling is used only for statistical purposes.
  4. Transmission of commercial information: Based on your separate consent, MODECOM may process your personal data for the purpose of providing commercial information by electronic means. You may withdraw your consent at any time in the manner specified in the correspondence or by contacting the Administrator.
  5. Contests: Occasionally, MODECOM may hold contests during which personal data voluntarily provided by participants may be processed. Such data will be processed only for the purposes of conducting the contest as specified in the contest rules (e.g., to draw the winners or to notify the winners) for the period necessary to conduct the contest, unless the contest participant separately agrees to the processing of data for other purposes, including marketing purposes.

ENTRUSTING DATA PROCESSING

Some information may be transferred to third parties providing services to the Administrator in the field of maintenance of IT infrastructure and systems, hosting, monitoring of website traffic, if it is necessary to fulfill obligations to the User. The transfer of data is carried out under data processing entrustment agreements signed with these entities.
  2. MODECOM entrusts the processing of data to third parties maintaining the principles of security, confidentiality and minimization.

RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS

  1. Any person whose data is processed by MODECOM has the right to access, rectify, erase ("right to be forgotten") or restrict processing of his or her personal data, and to object to processing.
  2. In addition, MODECOM may transfer data to an entity designated by the data subject upon request.
  3. Any person whose data is processed by MODECOM has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
  4. If you have consented to receive commercial information by electronic means, you have the right to withdraw your consent, without affecting the processing already performed and without affecting other services and obligations provided by MODECOM.

USE OF "COOKIES"
