§1
General provisions
(1) These Regulations (hereinafter: "Regulations") define the terms and conditions of the "For the Love of Technology" Contest (hereinafter: "Contest"), as well as the selection of winners in the Contest.
(2) The Organizer of the Contest is Modecom Polska Sp. z o.o., (hereinafter: "Organizer"). The Contest takes place on the territory of the Republic of Poland.
(3) The Contest participant confirms that he/she has read the Contest Regulations and agrees and accepts the terms of the Regulations by entering the Contest.
(4) The Organizer declares that the Contest is not a game or game of chance, the result of which depends on chance within the meaning of Article 2 of the Act of November 19, 2009 on gambling games (Journal of Laws 2023.227.tj).
(5) The Organizer is the pledgee of the prize within the meaning of Articles 919 - 921 of the Act of April 23, 1964. - Civil Code (Dz.U.2024.1061.tj).
(6) The Organizer declares that the Contest is in no way sponsored, supported or administered by Meta, nor is it affiliated with Meta in any way. The Organizer releases Meta from any and all liability related to the organization and conduct of the Contest.
(7) Each entrant to the Competition declares that:

Objectives of the Competition
(1) The main objective of the Contest is to create a graphic in any AI program for a computer case. The graphics will be printed on transparent film and pasted on the case - the side and front glass, or only the side or front glass, depending on the winning design.
(2) The organizer expects to award three works.
§3
Rules of the Competition
(1) Participation in the Contest is voluntary and free of charge.
2 The competition is open.
(3) You may not submit a project (hereinafter: "Contest Work") presented ever or anywhere before.
4 The contest is organized in the territory of the Republic of Poland.
(5) The Contest is open to all natural persons, who are consumers within the meaning of Article221 of the Civil Code, residing in the Republic of Poland.
(6) The Contest is open to persons who are at least 18 (eighteen) years of age and have at least limited legal capacity within the meaning of the relevant provisions of the Civil Code.
7 The person who entered the Contest is bound by the terms and conditions of these Regulations (hereinafter: "Participant").
8 Minors and persons with limited legal capacity may participate in the Contest only with the consent of their legal representatives.
(9) The following may not participate in the Contest: employees of the Organizer, as well as members of the immediate family of the above-mentioned persons. Members of the immediate family are understood as: spouses, children, parents, siblings, spouses and children of siblings, relatives and affinities of the second degree and persons in an adoption relationship.
10. employee within the meaning of the Regulations is both a person employed under an employment contract and a person cooperating under a civil law contract (in particular, under a contract for specific work, a contract of mandate).
(11) Participation in the Contest and provision of data related to participation is completely voluntary.
12 Persons who meet the requirements for participation in the Contest described above may enter the Contest.
13 Participants providing false or incorrect information about themselves or enrolling others to participate will not receive a prize.
14 It is unacceptable to submit Contest Works that:
(15) The Organizer reserves the right to remove the Contest Works referred to in paragraph 14.
16 The Competition works referred to in paragraph 14 shall not participate in the Competition.
(17) Disputes will be resolved by a specially appointed committee consisting of representatives of the Organizer.
18 It is allowed to submit a maximum of one project by each participant in the Competition. If a participant submits two or three projects, the Jury will be able to award only one of them.

21 The Organizer shall establish a three-member jury of the Contest (hereinafter: "Jury") appointed to determine the winner.
22 The organizer reserves the right to change the composition of the Jury.
(23) Minutes of the Jury's deliberations will be drawn up and signed by all participating Jury members. The Jury shall decide by a simple majority of votes cast by secret ballot.

§ 4
Conditions for participation in the Competition
(1) The condition for participation in the Contest is to independently create and submit a graphic design in any AI program.
(2) The Contest participant is required to provide graphics in the highest possible resolution.
(3) The organizer is not responsible for the quality of printing graphics on transparent film in case of low resolution of the submitted graphics.
(4) All costs associated with the preparation of the Competition work shall be borne by the Competition participant.

Prizes in the Competition
(1) The jury will award three selected winners with one Volcano Panorama APEX ARGB 7F
case each with sticker graphics.
2 The value of one prize is PLN 750.
(3) The Jury's decisions are final and unchallengeable, and the Jury's verdict cannot be appealed.
4 The Organizer will contact the winners of the Contest via a private message on Facebook within 30 days from the date of the announcement of the results of the Contest.
(5) The prize shall be sent to the winner on condition that the winner provides the address for shipping the prize in the form indicated by the Organizer.
(6) In case of failure to indicate the shipping address on the part of the winner within 7 days, the prize will be forfeited and the Organizer reserves the right to select another winner.
7 The winner may not transfer the right to the prize to a third party.
8 The winner may waive the right to the prize.
9. the Organizer is not responsible for the inability of the winner to collect the prize due to reasons beyond the control of the Organizer, for which the winner is responsible.
10. the Organizer undertakes to cover the costs associated with obtaining the prize, in accordance with Article 21, paragraph 1, item 68 and Article 30, paragraph 1, item 2 of the Personal Income Tax Act of July 26, 1991 (Journal of Laws 2024.226.tj).

By entering the Competition, the participant declares that:

The participant who publishes a graphic under the contest post, declares his desire to participate in the Contest.
§8
Participants' rights and obligations
(1) The participant is obliged to respect the rights and obligations under these Regulations.
(2) Any violation of the Rules by a Contest Participant may result in the exclusion of the Contest Participant from the Contest.
(3) It is unacceptable for Participants to take actions that are against the law, contrary to the rules of social coexistence, generally considered morally reprehensible, socially inappropriate or violating the set of rules applicable on the Internet (the so-called Netiquette).
§9
Rights and obligations of the Organizer
(1) The Organizer reserves the right to exclude Participants from the Contest, and in extreme cases to block participation in the Contest of those Participants who violate the provisions of these Regulations, in particular:
(2) The Organizer of the Competition shall not be liable for infringement of copyright or personal rights of third parties by the Participants.
(3) The Organizer shall provide all Participants with equal opportunities and fair conditions for participation in the Contest.
§10
Data protection
(1) In relation to the information obligation specified in Article 13(1) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC - "RODO", the Organizer informs the Contest Participants that the Administrator of the personal data submitted for the purpose of participation in the Contest is Modecom Polska Sp. z o.o.. Personal data will be processed by Modecom Polska Sp. z o.o. for promotional purposes in accordance with the information clause.
(2) The Organizer declares that the personal data collected and processed by the Organizer, as the administrator of personal data, will be used only within the framework of and for the purpose of conducting the Contest, in accordance with the Act of August 29, 1997 on the Protection of Personal Data (Journal of Laws 2019.1781).
§11
Final provisions
(1) The organizer is responsible for the conduct of the Competition and its proper conduct.
(2) The Organizer reserves the right to cancel the Competition in case:
(3) Each participant has the right to apply to the Contest Organizer for clarification of the Contest Regulations. Questions should be asked by e-mail to marketing@modecom.eu.
(4) In matters not covered by these Regulations, the provisions of Polish law shall apply.
(5) The Competition Regulations and results will be available to all interested parties on the Organizer's website.
(6) The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the rules and schedule of the competition at any stage. He will notify the changes on his Facebook profile.
(7) Any disputes between the participant and the Organizer will be resolved by a common court of law with jurisdiction over the Organizer's headquarters.
